Big news from the World Long Drive Championships

Did you follow Eric Jones at the World Long Drive Championship?

Well if you weren’t you missed what folks in the stand called

“maybe the most thrilling final ever!”

Here’s Eric in his own words:

“It’s the day after and I’m still a little in shock.

I’m not even sure how much sleep I got last night – that last

round keeps running through my head and getting me pumped up all over again.

First of all, everyone who’s anyone in Long Drive showed up for  this Championship and they were all at the top of their game.  By the time the first four rounds were over half the field had been eliminated, and those that were left were the guys you expected to be there – just the way it should be.  At one point I counted 16 world titles in the group.

But I felt great all day and was a steady eddie – I kept hitting it long and found the grid over and over again. One by one the big hitters fell until it was just me and Mike Barbarossa in the finals, and man did we go toe to toe!

I got on the board first and established the early lead – I think my first ball was 357 (the early balls are kind of a blur). We went back and forth and on his third ball he absulutely crushed it –  366!!

We kept battling, and then we were both down to our last ball and Mike still had the lead.

I thought back to my first World Championship in 2003. I won that event on my last ball, so I told myself as long as I had one more swing I knew could do it.

I took a breath… went through my same routine … walked up to the ball and COMPLETELY TORE THE COVER OFF IT!!

We waited for the yardage come back ….

369!!!!

The crowd went nuts – the whole stadium was screaming and I couldn’t believe I did it AGAIN!

I was jumping around like a crazed jack rabbit (think the 2003 World Long Drive video which you’ve probably seen, but with a bit less vertical jump – It was 9 years ago now :))

But it wasn’t over – Mike still had one more ball left.

It took a minute for the crowd to settle down and Mike was really smart about taking an extra breath or two just to get himself focused (I gotta tell you, it’s hard to convey what a pressure cooker it is on that tee box)

Then Mike made his swing. It sounded like a cannon had gone off!  The ball jumped off his club face and rocketed down the dead center of the grid.

The crowd jumped to it’s feet as the ball was in the air, and I knew the second he hit it that I was in trouble. I was already crafting my congratulatory speech to him.  The ball hit the ground and rolled, we all stood there on pins and needles as the yardage markers took their own sweet time to measure the distance. I swear they were instructed to walk slower to add to the drama – sheesh!

Finally the call came back – 364!!

Mike fell to his knees, he couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe it, the crowd

couldn’t believe it.

He finally got up and walked over to me and said, “That was  everything I had, it just wasn’t enough – congratulations Eric.”

I’ll never forget the scene around that tee box for as long as I live.”

So you’ve received an email or two from me recently telling you that Eric’ was running a special on his program, The 5 Keys To Distance throughout the week. It’s the same training program he used to prepare for the Worlds. I think he just answered any questions about how well it works.

The special was supposed to end when Eric got bumped off the tee at the World’s – BUT HE WENT OUT AND WON THE DANG THING!

Eric  said they’re gonna be  celebrating like crazy all weekend and he thought it only right to give you guys the chance to celebrate with him.

He’s proof positive that the techniques and program works – he’s 54 years old and just hit it 369 yards under the craziest pressure the game has to offer! It works – and there’s a money back guarantee that says it’ll work for you too!

He’s continuing the special sale pricing a few more days at the most. It is his program after all and if he decides on t to come down to earth and end it, that’ll be his prerogative – so I suggest you head over and pick it up now.

And leave him a little congratulatory comment if you would! We’re proud of him – that’s a huge accomplishment.

Take advantage of all the great mojo and “distance juice” he has flowing right now – let him help you hit the ball farther and find the game you wish you had every time you go to the course.
